ABOUT ISAAC
Isaac de Heer has a Masters of Music Therapy, and has worked as a Registered Music Therapist in Hospitals, Early Childhood Centres, Community, Aged Care and Special Developmental School settings, with additional training in Neurologic Music Therapy.
Isaac has established Northern Rivers Music Therapy out of a lifelong passion and curiosity for the positive impact of music, which has seen him work within music education, sound production, and performance. Isaac has performed his original work with top Australian and International artists, playing stages abroad and across Australia. He has collected instruments and ideas along the way- culminating in an extensive body of recorded work, and a passion for bringing songwriting to the therapeutic setting.
In Music Therapy sessions, Isaac uses a resource orientated approach to draw from the strengths of each participant and their unique connection to music, working towards their health related goals.
